What the heck's iddyomatic?
I've had this little resource website called idiomic.com running for a few years now which talks about idioms.
"Ooh how exciting! "you exclaim, barely able to contain yourself.
But bear with me. It was mostly an excuse to do some weird illustrations, but soon, finding out where these strange little phrases come from became an obsession.
The site had several thousand visitors every month, but it didn't generate any money, and was costing me a bunch of hosting fees, so, being the Canadian cheapskate I am, I've migrated all the material over here so it' still accessible to one and all at no extra cost to me!
